    The Good Shepherd team will be serving at Peace of Bread Community Kitchen on Wednesday, January 29. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jason Patnode atjasontpatnode@gmail.com. Servers arrive for 5:00pm. We wrap up around 6:30-7:00pm. We are also in need of extra cooking help this year for this date or for June 10 or September 9. Cooking starts around noon until around 3:30pm. If you can volunteer for for any of these days please contact Jason. The Peace of Bread Community Kitchen is located at the United Presbyterian Church on Cottage Street in Whitinsville behind UniBank. Thank you.

Light of the World retreat is scheduled for the weekend of October 18-21, 2019 at the Good Shepherd parish.  If you have always wanted to attend a retreat, but could never afford it; or take the time to go away for several days.

  • Mario Henry Forget Memorial Scholarship

    The Mario Henry Forget Memorial Scholarship is given to those graduates of our parish who have remained in active ministry here at Good Shepherd through their senior year of high school. Mario was an altar server and an active youth leader in our Vacation Bible School. Mario died in 2003 as the result of a tragic accident. This scholarship was established in 2013 to honor his memory and to assist in some small way those graduates who have been faithful to serving our parish community.

    Congratulations to the 42 people that have been at our two retreats! Everyone has come away with a deepened faith and a new relationship with Jesus Christ. The retreat Team was very happy to witness the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon these. The beauty of Light of the World is that it doesn’t just end; but continues after the weekend. Our third retreat is scheduled for October 18-23, 2019. We hope you will be touched by the Holy Spirit to consider this for yourself, so that you too may come away refreshed and joyous.
